Water damage from clogged gutters

Gutters can become clogged over time or after a storm. Moss, leaves and branches can hinder water drainage. The water then remains in the gutters and will run down next to the gutters. Poorly maintained gutters can also loosen under the weight of the water and break. This could endanger the safety of the people underneath. Over time, a poorly maintained gutter will cause wood rot and will loosen the joints of the outer walls.
